Pendant Descriptor

Chart of all pendants.

Pendants are fictional compo items that have two different functions which either allows to:
  • Temporarily increase SP (or LP) in a big way any time a character that wields attacks for a duration of a minute.
  • Manipulate the enemy count by halving or doubling on screen, for boss-rushing or grinding, respectively.

The first variant consist of the four classical elements: Earth, Wind, Flame, and Water. The first three increase SP by 100 for the duration of a minute, except for the Water pendant which extends LP by 1000. Once the time is up, the LP percentage will remain. Their selling value is 500/level.

The second variant consist of the Bright Pendant, and the Dim Pendant. These cannot be bought in the shops and are sold for 20000 gold. The Bright Pendant will halve the amount of enemies on-screen (affects bosses as well), rounding down if uneven. Those with spawning capabilities will only max out the enemy count at 50 instead of 100. The dim pendant doubles the enemy count and the limit to 200.

Composition restriction: no restrictions

Effect explanation: Decreases the amount of enemies on screen by half. Also affects the spawn limit down to 50 instead of 100. Makes the stages a lot easier, as it can decrease the amount of bosses you have to defeat.

Note: Cannot be stacked if there are other characters who have this as well. Cannot also affect screens that have only one enemy/boss on-screen. Can be mitigated by the Dim Pendant used by another character.

Dim Pendant Dim Pendant

Double enemy count and limit Moon Crater Boss (Moon Crater) (25%) - 20000

Composition restriction: no restrictions

Effect explanation: Increases the amount of enemies on screen by doubling the count. Also affects the spawn limit up to 200 instead of 100. Makes the stages a lot tougher, as it can increase the amount of bosses (even mega bosses) you have to defeat. In turn, it is very useful if the player wishes to grind more enemies for drops.

Note: Cannot be stacked if there are other characters who have this as well. Can be mitigated by the Bright Pendant used by another character.
